Create a paper roller coaster. Use one sheet of paper for the base, cut and glue long strips of paper to the base to make a roller coaster. Add as many details as possible by cutting shapes, folding and curling the paper.

Design and build a robot using the recyclables. Create sketches when planning your robot. Use your sketches to build the robot. What is the purpose of your robot? What special things can it do?

Create a map of an adventure you have taken or would like to take. Draw a map of this adventure. Include places you want to stop along the way. Include a beginning location and ending location. Add as much detail as possible.

Go on a hunt for texture around your house. Use the side of your crayon to make a rubbing of the texture you find. Use multiple colors and layers of texture rubbings.

Create a drawing or painting using only dots, no lines. Make your image a landscape, something outside, mountains, the beach or other scenery. You can layer the dots to create different effects. Look at your artwork from far away and close-up. Does it look the same or does it look different?

Play some music and draw what the music makes you feel. Try this with a variety of different types of music. Your drawings can be realistic or abstract.
